On Sunday Feb 1st Co 67 was invited by Co 36 to come out for a day of Ice rescue training at Lake Genero.  Along with Co's 67 & 36 Co 1 Lake Ariel Fire Company was also out for the day of training as well.  36 Dive Capt. Joe S.  went over the basics of a safe ice rescue operation.  Everyone in attendance got to throw a bag of rope to the victim to try to hold them above the water until they got out on their sled.  36 Deputy Chief as the rescuer and Firefighter Chris Di Pierro as the very willing victim demonstrated how to use their sled to safely pull the victim out of the water and back to land.
